Well I’m on mobile so this will not be as elaborate as some. I would love to link to my first few articles that got shared to the front page of Jalopnik but it’s just too much work.
My first post was in 2013 but I was a lurker many years before that. This place has changed but the goal of the people hasn’t. The passion of the vehicles we own, strive to own and dream to own or even just get to experience with a drive or our eyes is burning as bright as ever. We love to encourage others on their own automotive endeavors even if it ends in failure like my V10 Touareg almost did.
I have 0 friends to enjoy a vehicle with especially in 2020. Yet with every purchase I have been 1000% excited to share with this community. I am 33 years old and have owned 20 vehicles so i clearly do it for my own personal desire but to be able to share this with Oppo has been a pleasure.
I took for granted what I had, I didn’t even post the entire year of 2014! Granted I had just taken a job and moved to the big DFW area but I feel like I didn’t do my part for this community. Wherever we may land, I will be there and try to be more involved as we now know what can be lost.
Thank you everyone who has contributed to this place with posts, comments or even just clicks to keep us going this long.
Drive Free or Die
Oppo has chosen to Drive Free.

Hell yeah, another Texan. There’s a bunch of places are hiding out ‘til we figure it all out, listed out on oppositelock.com. Hope to see you on one of those!

Thanks, I’m on the Hyphen and registered to the DT yet haven’t put any effort into posting there. Sadly no longer in the DFW area, back down in the Corpus Christi area where the car scene is....lower... But its an easier drive to COTA where I almost met yall at the Jalopnik/Oppo meets but never did. One day.
Also we are still alive? For now.
